4-10 Thatcher Crescent was a must-do opportunity to design and building a stylish affordable 'avenue of townhouses' in a spacious park-like setting with lawns and beautiful gardens. We called is Avenida - Spanish for Avenue. Avenida is a flat sunny bush rimmed plateau above the road from Wadestown to Ngaio. We deliberately chose to limit site coverage to 27%. By doing so, we could include a large flat common lawn for all residents to enjoy. The setting of Avenida meant all residents get sunlight, air and a pleasant outlook.
